Dhana Lee founded Chapps Hamburger Café in 1984…
Dhana discovered a run-down diner in downtown Arlington & decided it was the perfect location to begin serving half-pound, thick juicy burgers nestled between fresh baked buns. The unique combination of delicious food & a fun atmosphere caught on - Chapps quickly became the favorite café for local area families & businesses!

Eventually, Yawapa, Dhana’s wife, quit her job & decided to help grow the company. New locations were opened in various areas of Tarrant County, each with their own individual identity, but still serving the same high quality, delicious food.

Over the last decade, they are still family-owned, but have expanded to nine (9) locations, some licensed out to independent operators.


Chapps continues to excel, receiving recognition from industry peers & their loyal customers!
